An opportunity now exists for a Tax Accountant to join our Tax team at RAC on a permanent full-time basis.
Your day will involve a combination of tax compliance, reporting and the provision of tax advice while working collaboratively with various leaders and stakeholders to provide tax expertise and guidance.
The position is based in our West Perth office with flexible working arrangements and close to public transport.

What will you be doing?        
In this role, you will play a pivotal role in our financial processes, focusing on the following responsibilities: 

• Preparation and lodgement of income tax returns and fringe benefit returns for RAC entities.
• Preparation and lodgement of ongoing BAS and PAYG activity statements.
• Assisting with managing statutory reporting obligations.
• Providing tax advice and contributing to ad-hoc project work.
•  Managing and maintaining the Group's tax asset registers.
•  Completing monthly reconciliations of tax accounts.
•  Preparing and assisting with preparing statutory tax effect accounting and reporting.

What are we looking for in you?

• Completed a CA or CPA
• Demonstrated corporate tax experience in commerce or practice
• Experience with preparing corporate Income Tax and FBT returns
• Tertiary qualifications in Commerce/Business​
• Proficiency in the use of accounting systems
• Demonstrated expertise in using Microsoft Excel and Word for Window
• Strong analytical skill with attention to detail to drive accurate and insightful decision-making
