A Day in the Life
The Diabeter IT-infrastructure & Technology project manager will support and lead the overall design, implementation, maintenance, and security of our IT-infrastructure, including networks, cloud services, on-premises systems, and cybersecurity and as such creating a blue-print model for the Diabeter Services offering and Focused Clinics. Asides the project manager will support the technical evolvement of Diabeter proprietary solutions.
The role requires a mix of hands-on technical expertise, strategic planning, and team leadership to support business growth and ensure high availability of IT services.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Eliminate the current technical debt of the current IT infrastructure across our implementations and make it more scalable
- Explore the opportunities of leveraging the more cost-effective contracts acquired by Medtronic to reduce the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for the Diabeter organization
- Project manage the high-complex projects around interoperability with Hospital IT teams and 3rd party suppliers
- Standardize the setup/model of the Diabeter IT Suite & IT infrastructure across all Diabeter clinics to reduce TCO through economies of scale
- Manage the project for implementing the Diabeter IT suite & infrastructure for any Diabeter Clinics/Focused Clinics or Care Model Enablement contracted through the Diabeter pipeline
- Enhance the user experience by better aligning the IT infrastructure (tools and productivity applications) with the employees' way of working
- Project manage the RFI/RFP/Contracting and execution of the technology transformation of the Diabeter proprietary IT applications.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Health technology, Business Administration or a related field and 10+ years of experience in an Infrastructure or project management role, preferably in the healthcare or technology sector
- Proven experience with Agile SAFE, Prince2 & PMBOK methodologies and experience with quality management systems such as ISO27001, ENS, NEN7510 & Qualicor
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in using project management and data analysis tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Tableau, SQL) and experience with MDR CE-marking and understanding of regulatory requirements for Software as a Medical Device (SaMD)
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex and transformational projects at a principal level
- Strong understanding of diabetes management and related technologies and knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards (e.g., HL7 FHIR) and data security regulations (e.g., HIPAA) are highly desirable.
