Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of Unified Communications/Collaboration industry standards and trends.

  • Proficient in Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, M365 application suite, including Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Purview, and Microsoft Defender.

  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and collaboratively to achieve goals.

  • Expertise in Microsoft Teams, including Voice integration and on-premises PBX connectivity.

  • Advanced PowerShell scripting skills.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Exchange Unified Messaging.

  • Comprehensive understanding of all Microsoft Cloud PBX features and system/user administration.

  • Dynamic and proactive, with a keen eye for detail and organization.

  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to represent and advocate for team perspectives.

  • Experience in SharePoint and its ecosystem is considered a significant plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the tower lead and architects to spearhead the Engineering program for Unified Communications tools, focusing on future state planning, design, documentation, and solution interdependencies.

  • Design and implement solutions that align with business and technical requirements.

  • Facilitate direct collaboration with operations teams to deploy solution designs.

  • Partner with the networking telephony team to integrate Microsoft Teams Voice with Cisco Call Manager.

  • Ensure solutions comply with Security & Compliance team policies.

  • Maintain comprehensive solution and engineering documentation.

  • Equip End-user support teams with the necessary tools and procedures for effective user support.

  • Coordinate with cyber security teams to address and mitigate risks within the environment.

  • Provide Level 4 support during critical incidents.

  • Offer expert guidance to Project Managers and business stakeholders, leveraging Teams and other cloud technologies to meet practical business needs.

  • Participate in internal audit preparations and activities.

  • Conduct semi-annual reviews of internal documentation and processes and develop remediation plans based on findings.

  • Drive the implementation of automations for routine tasks.

  • Engage with the Collaboration Services Center of Excellence to develop scalable product solutions for internal clients.

  • Work with management and the strategy team to outline long-term solution and environment roadmaps.

  • In collaboration with engineering, streamline Service Now & SailPoint workflows through automation.

  • Actively seek opportunities to reduce technical debt and propose rationalization strategies.

  • Develop and manage SharePoint environments, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with other M365 services.

  • Advocate for and implement SharePoint best practices, driving adoption and maximizing the platform's collaborative potential.
