Position: Principle Application Engineer (Cadence Interface IP), Yokohama
Position Description:
- Application Engineer of IP, mainly Interface IP products
- Offer application-specific solutions for HPC, AI and other customers with domain-specific knowledge
- Presales and technical campaign with proactive and creative approach working with Sales and Marketing
- Communicate with customers, up-to-date products information on Interface IP of various protocols
- Support customer projects toward success with R&D by focusing on customers’ pain points and satisfaction
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years design or customer related working experience
- Experience in participating SoC project or experience in IP development
- Experience with at least one of DDR/PCIE/SerDes/Ethernet/USB protocols will be a plus
- Good written and verbal communication skills and problem solving skills are required
- Good understanding of SoC architecture will be a plus
- Back-end design and analog skills will be a plus
- Good understanding of the semiconductor IP marketplace and ecosystem
- Native Japanese speaker, can use English as working language in written and verbal
