Mission Statement

This role supports commercial excellence and global account management by contributing to the business performance insights, supporting analytics demand, and coordinating dashboard delivery through the BI development team. The role translates business needs into clear analytical requirements, ensures high-quality insight delivery, integrates market trends into forecasts, and drives adoption of data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Forecasting & Data Gathering

Collect, validate, and interpret historical and current data from internal and external sources to support accurate forecasting. Integrate market trends, competitive intelligence, and business drivers into forecasts and performance narratives.

  • Analytical Modeling

Act as the primary interface between business stakeholders and the BI / Power BI development team. Apply advanced analytical tools and implement forecasting models, refining them continuously for improved accuracy.

  • Data Visualization & Insights

Contribute to the content, structure, logic, and business relevance of dashboards (not the technical build). Ensure dashboards clearly communicate trends, performance gaps, risks, and opportunities. Drive continuous improvement of existing dashboards and initiate new dashboard concepts based on evolving business needs.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration

Work closely with business teams to gather requirements and ensure dashboards and reports align with commercial objectives.

  • Data Quality & Integration

Collect, clean, and integrate data from multiple sources, ensuring consistency, reliability, and timely updates.

  • Documentation & Governance

Establish standardized processes and data governance practices to maintain accuracy and resolve issues efficiently.

  • Issue Resolution & Continuous Improvement

Monitor and address data-related issues promptly, analyze root causes, and implement preventive measures to minimize impact on operations.

Qualifications for the Role

  • Technical Expertise:
    • Strong experience working with BI / analytics teams
    • Strong financial background with good knowledge of SAP.
  • CRM & Visualization Tools: Proficiency in Salesforce, ATLAS, and Power BI.
  • Microsoft Applications: Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to support strategic decisions.
  • 3-5 years of proven experience in forecasting, competitive analysis, or related roles within energy companies

Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Economics, Statistics, or a related field. CMA/CA/ MBA Finance preferred
