JOB SUMMARY:
The Quality Production Supervisor will provide leadership and support to the manufacturing teams to create a safe and productive environment. This role will develop, plan, and supervise the work of assigned employees to manage and support department and operational goals. This role will develop high performance work teams with ongoing coaching and direction, both formal and informal, enabling a People First Culture.
This role will be based at our Kewaunee Fabrications facility in Kewaunee, WI. This is a unionized facility.
YOUR IMPACT:
These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive, and other duties may be assigned.
Lead a small team of quality inspectors to oversee quality processes, inspections, and much more.
Plan and supervise the work of assigned team members in final product inspection and in process quality check points so team members are successful and meet schedules and solve quality pro
Train team to ISO, applicable certification, regulation, workmanship, fleet, and compliance standards.
Manage incoming inspections for internal/external products.
Manage the disposition and preparation for release to ship.
Ensure coverage of all critical quality inspection functions and maintain uninterrupted quality.
Develop quality team skill set through mentorship and coaching and responsible for interviewing and performance reviews.
Responsible for identifying team needs, managing spend to budget, scope and quote equipment/services, and develop capital spend justifications and proposals
Communicate problems effectively within Quality and other departments.
Educate and enforce quality, safety, and 5S standards and processes, and recommend changes as opportunities arise on production floor.
Responsible for changes needed in machines, processes, materials, and assembly. Champion process improvements and lead Kaizen events.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma and five (5) years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
One (1) year of supervisory/lead experience.
WHAT MAKES YOU STAND OUT:
Prior experience working in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment.
Prior experience leading in a unionized facility.
Experience in weld, CNC machining, or paint.
Prior experience leading ISO site certifications.
Knowledge of measuring devices, gages, tooling, CMM
Knowledge of industry standards (ASME/AWS, DOT)
Ability to plan and organize projects.
Good communication skills both verbal and written.

Pay Range:
$72,200.00 - $116,200.00The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
