Department Overview

Motorola Solutions Finance Operation Service Center is a center of Motorola in Kraków which gives you an opportunity to participate in a setup of the new organization. The center is a part of our global network of Finance Operation Service Centers (FOC) which provides world-class finance, accounting and purchasing services to Motorola branches in Europe, Middle East, Africa, US and Latin America region. The Accounts Receivable department is responsible for global cash collections, cash forecasting, billing and cash application activities. Being the biggest department in Krakow and the biggest Motorola team focused on cash we drive the overall.


Job Description

The Business Projects & AR Reporting Senior Specialist reports the BP & AR Reporting Team Lead and is responsible for managing reporting and business projects related to the EMEA region. The Senior Specialist is responsible for timely and accurate delivery of reports to internal and external customers, while adhering to Motorola’s established policies and procedures. In addition the Senior Specialist will support the various business projects and maintain good working relationships with the entities applicable.

Main tasks in scope of work:

  • Holistic reporting management for the region – specially Cash Flow and Cash Collections

  • Drive reports standardization and help design automation where possible

  • Supporting audit requests

  • Acting as SME for the region and coordinating process improvement initiatives

  • Supporting the various related business projects

  • Communicating and proactively solving potential issues

  • Cooperating closely with regional Business partners as well as other teams within and outside of the department

  • Strive for continuous improvement


Basic Requirements

  • Positive attitude

  • Requires minimum 3 years experience in Finance department

  • Experience in Business Projects & Reporting area

  • Excellent analytical skills

  • Advanced MS Excel user

  • Oracle, Tableau and Alteryx knowledge an advantage

  • Primary understanding of Finance/Accounting basics

  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English

  • Bachelor's/Master's Degree - preferably in Science, Finance/Economy or Accounting
