The Red Hat Observability Intelligence team is looking for an engineer to join us in the Czech Republic. Be prepared to join a team developing Observability Analytics tools for OpenShift clusters and pioneer Agentic workflows (not only) with OpenShift Lightspeed, creating AI agents that diagnose and heal enterprise-scale environments.

What you will do:

  • Integrate Observability Analytics tools with other cluster components

  • Develop Observability Kubernetes operators (multi-cluster and single-cluster)

  • Developing AI agents for OpenShift Lightspeed agentic flow

  • Contribute to product quality - Quality is everybody’s responsibility

  • Collaborate actively within the team as well as collaborating with other teams

What you will bring:

  • Working knowledge any high level programming language - willingness to master Go

  • Experience with containers and/or Kubernetes

  • Experience with AI-assisted coding 

  • Curious with a deep desire to learn new things

  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English

  • Ability to work in a globally distributed team

The following are considered a plus:

  • Familiarity Agentic frameworks, MCP, AI agents, Agentic Software Development

  • Experience with Python; Prometheus/PromQL

  • Familiarity with microservices architectures

  • Experience with Open Source Software
