Serve as an extension to the HR team for a client in Costa Rica, providing consulting support and knowledge of local requirements. Support areas will mainly include HCM and payroll models.

The following Oracle modules are in scope for the program:

  • Global Human Resources - Core HR​ (with Position Management)

  • Recruiting and Onboarding​

  • Compensation​

  • Absence​

  • Benefits​

  • Time and Labor​

  • Goals Management

  • Performance Management​

  • Career Development​

  • Talent Review and Succession Planning

Note that this Costa Rica lead will not perform these functions but will serve as part of the Client HR team and liaise to support these areas.

Responsibilities           

  • Collaborate across the HR organization to evaluate business needs and deliver HR solutions. Advise client account leadership regarding HR aspects of business strategies, issues and decisions. Coordinate and deliver HR activities across the account.

  • Oversee or support account on-boarding, orientation, and integration.

  • Oversee, plan, and support the talent management for key HR functions such as annual performance management, supply/demand management, employee engagement and people programs, total rewards, and talent development.

  • Provide counsel to project teams on career planning, leadership development and people management. Design, build and support HR programs, policies, and processes that deliver on HR strategy and business goals.

  • Monitor effectiveness of existing HR programs and services for business entity and engage with HR service delivery to resolve issues.

  • Que Lead initiatives for various HR functions in accordance to the HR operating model. Develop compensation strategy and equity programs.

  • Drive leading recruitment practices, sourcing management activities, and effective hiring and onboarding techniques. Coach recruiters, operations management, and workforce planning teams to understand short and long-term talent objectives and hiring forecasts.

  • Execute workforce analytics to understand reasons behind employee turnover and absenteeism.

  • Oversee reporting and insights on metrics and trends impacting the business.

  • Design and deliver HR programs.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree and/or work equivalent in human resources, psychology or labor relations.

    • 5+ years of experience in HR administrative areas.

    • At least 5+ years of relevant experience in managing projects and related human resources activities. 

    • Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken) 

    • Strong knowledge of the local statutory regulatory HR Costa Rica

    • Knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, workday.
