The Distribution Center Order Pickers - Summer Student's responsibility is to accurately and quickly service our customers while maintaining the highest quality and safety standards in the industry. The Order Picker will operate forklift equipment, pick orders in a warehouse using RF scanning equipment and be prepared to meet any challenge.
Hours of Work: 7:00am - 7:15pm (84 hours bi-weekly) Continental
Salary: 26.12 $/hour
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operate forklift effectively and safely; maintain equipment and report malfunctions.
Pick and prepare for shipment customer order(s) as required.
Ensure customer orders are picked accurately and in a timely manner using an RF picking procedure.
Tape, carton, stretch wrap all orders for shipping.
Load/unload trailers and containers as assigned.
Assist with inventory preparation and cycle counts.
Process courier orders using existing software.
Transfer inventory for re-stocking bin location, stock replenishment as needed
Re-package and label cartons with bar codes as required.
Maintain a strict housekeeping standard in accordance with 5S protocols.
Report unsafe work conditions/environment in a timely manner.
All other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Enrolled on a recognized institution (Supply Chain related program a plus)
Minimum Class G2 drivers license
The successful candidate must complete a criminal background check.
Experience with RF technology preferred.
Confident working at heights of 20 feet when picking orders.
Ability to lift up to 50+ pounds.
Ability to meet daily deadlines and to work in a fast-paced environment where assignments and work priorities are reviewed several times a day.
Ability to work well as a team and independently at times.
Available to work a Full Time position between May and August 2026

Ongoing requirement of physical activities.
Work involves both routine and non-routine tasks within well-defined standards.
Warehouse associates need to be prepared and equipped to perform in varying work conditions.
