Citigroup Global Markets Inc. seeks an Investment Banking Vice President for its New York, NY location.

Duties: Lead a team of junior bankers in the evaluation of operations, business plans, and financial and economic forecasts to produce strategic and financial analyses relating to the execution of mergers and acquisitions (M&A), leveraged buyouts, and debt and equity financing. Assist senior professionals in the sourcing of and outreach to new clients. Review and assess detailed financial statements, related reports, and drafts to prepare financial documentation relating to a range of sophisticated and complex investment banking transactions involving numerous parties. Lead the preparation and development of management discussion materials, offering memoranda and presentations detailing industry trends, business strategy, and corporate strategic options. Directly advise clients on strategic options, market positioning, and industry trends. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered, or in a related occupation in the consulting or financial services industry. Two (2) years of experience must include: Providing client advisory services around the potential sale of assets (i.e., emission credits); Reviewing and building detailed models using Excel to provide stakeholders with complex statistical analyses; Using micro and macroeconomic theory including supply & demand and price elasticity to provide support to clients relating to transactions and strategic opportunities; Utilizing project management tools including Gantt charts to manage a project to completion within a specific timeline; and Utilizing specific industry knowledge for drafting industry materials. 40 hrs./wk.
