THE ROLE:
Our site in Chaska, MN is seeking a Kitting (Warehouse) Associate to join our team.
In this role you will ensure finished and semi-finished products and materials are handled properly and accurately to support the operations of a 24X7 manufacturing facility. Using a RF gun and pick lists you will assemble and/or put away components that are needed for manufacturing departments. This position collaborates with procurement, scheduling, quality, manufacturing, and logistics.
HOURS FOR THIS POSITION ARE 3rd SHIFT MONDAY-FRIDAY
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Conducts scheduled picks of requested components/materials, additional parts, reservations, resupply materials, and consolidates and delivers them to various manufacturing departments for assembly or production orders.
Processes expedited orders or damaged parts, identified with blue sheets, with urgency and accuracy.
Gathers kitting materials and labels for every work order through SAP.
Enters kitting order details and specifications into SAP and other ERP systems to uphold precise inventory and order records.
Ensures all picked products adhere to packaging specifications; promptly escalates quality issues when necessary.
Packages finished and semi-finished goods to specifications from orders utilizing a combination of packaging materials and instructions with a high degree of accuracy.
Labels kits appropriately and ensures proper documentation is completed for effective traceability.
Inspect kits for visible quality defects or inconsistencies and escalate any issues to kitting lead and supervisor as appropriate.
Promptly escalates any inventory discrepancies or issues encountered when picking kits.
Safely and effectively utilizes electric pallet jacks and WAVE mobile equipment to support daily objectives within the company and kitting department.
Collaborate with other warehouse team members and other departments to meet production schedules and customer demands.
Finalizes all required paperwork thoroughly and timely (i.e. Production Reports, Rack Tickets, Labels, Component Sheets, Rework Sheets, SAP Transactions etc.). Maintains accurate attribute/variable charts of rejected materials.
Integrates on all key business processes to influence customer satisfaction, waste elimination, growth, cost effectiveness and product/system quality. Promotes and implements use of continuous improvement tools to eliminate non-value activities. Participate actively in continuous improvement activities such as 6s, Kaizen events, etc.
Maintains a clean and safe work area. Performs duties in a safe manner and observes approved safety procedures. Communicates potential hazards immediately to supervisor.
Completes miscellaneous tasks as assigned in support of the larger organization and production goals.
WHAT WE SEEK:
Must be 18 years or older and have the right to work in the US without sponsorship.
High School Diploma or equivalent required
At least one (1) year of experience working in a warehouse setting is preferred.
Familiarity with SAP software and/or other inventory software to maintain records and input data is preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to perform basic math computations.
Basic computer and data entry skills.
High attention to detail.

Compensation: $20-$24 hourly range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role.
