Responsibilities:

Freudenberg Performance Materials is a leading global provider of innovative technical textiles and a pioneer in nonwovens, serving diverse industries with high‑performance material solutions.
In this role, you will act as our General Industry finance business partner - creating transparency, steering performance, and enabling fact-based decisions across a complex stakeholder landscape.

  • Transparency: Build confidence in the numbers through reliable reporting, strong data discipline, and clear financial narratives stakeholders can act on.

  • Steering: Identify cost drivers and profitability levers, translate analysis into decision options, and drive performance improvement.

  • Cross-Functional Partnering: Act as a trusted sparring partner to site leadership, constructively challenging priorities, investments, and assumptions anchored in sound business logic.

  • Alignment: Bridge site realities with BU/global expectations; ensure consistent financial logic, assumptions, and shared understanding across interfaces.

  • Judgment: Navigate tension and conflicting priorities with neutrality and maturity - knowing when to push and when to harmonize to protect business performance.

Qualifications:

Qualifications

  • Academic background in controlling, finance, business administration, or a comparable qualification.

  • Several years of controlling/finance experience in a manufacturing environment; strong budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis foundation.

  • Solid ERP/SAP controlling and reporting/analytics exposure; strong standard costing and financial close understanding.

  • Languages: English and German languages; both written and spoken
