Macro Helix helps hospitals and health care systems improve the operational and financial performance of their pharmacy service offerings. Our solutions help clients reduce drug costs, increase reimbursements and maintain compliance with federal and state regulations.

Current Need

Macro Helix has an opening for an Associate Implementation Specialist. This position requires up to 20% overnight travel and can sit in the Dallas or Atlanta area.

Position Overview

The Implementation Specialist is a client-facing position that is responsible for implementation and training of high-quality, sustainable 340B solutions to all Macro Helix products for health systems and contract pharmacies, including chain, independent and specialty pharmacies. They are responsible for working with highly matrixed health system customers and leading the implementation process across multiple internal departments within Macro Helix and various wholesalers and suppliers. The Implementation Specialist is tasked with educating the customer regarding regulations that may impact their program and applying the technical software settings per each customer’s unique requirements, both on the health system side as well as retail pharmacy. They are ultimately responsible for getting the customer to a timely, successful go live which results in 340B savings for the customer as well as revenue for Macro Helix while delivering an optimal customer implementation experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technology leadership and support throughout the implementation process. Create, present and manage/lead project implementation plans to customers for 340B Architect.
  • Analyze customer needs and identify & present appropriate system functionality options to meet those needs.
  • Provide strategic support for 340B Architect initiatives that require technical support and implementation efforts. Customize software settings to meet customer requirements and resolve any issues or concerns regarding the application.
  • Provide leadership as focal point of contact for internal communications and escalation of issues for the 340B Architect product and associated business operations. Conduct feasibility and profitability analysis to determine financial impacts.
  • Serve as subject matter expert to customers in educating them on 340B rules/regulations, implementation process and software functionality.
  • Maintain a high level of communication with all levels of client interaction to ensure proactive, solution oriented problem identification and resolution.
  • Train end users, answer application questions and provide training aids.

Minimum Requirements

Degree or equivalent and typically requires 2+ years of relevant experience

Education

BS degree or equivalent experience.

Critical Skills

  • 2+ years of specific knowledge-based, content or product applications engineering experience
  • 2+ years of experience in business analysis, requirements definition, building systems solutions and/or deployment of business requirements to information systems and/or project management in a technology based business
  • Technical proficiency in software applications and the utilization of Web based training applications
  • Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency
  • High degree of self-motivation and ability to work independently
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation and customer service skills
  • Strong organization and ability to manage multiple projects at one time
  • Positive, professional demeanor and presentation in all internal and client interactions

Additional Skills

  • Working knowledge of the rules and regulations of 340B compliance is highly preferred
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce.com preferred
  • Pharmacy Tech License preferred
  • Project Management Experience preferre

Physical Requirements

Ability to travel up to 20%

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$27.63 - $46.05
