This position is for a Platform Validation Architect in Intel's Datacenter and AI Platform Validation organization. We are seeking an experienced engineer for our Platform Security feature validation efforts. You will be responsible for test development and validation of XEON confidential-compute and platform integrity features. The role is crucial due to the evolving security competitive landscape, threat-models, and interoperability challenges of current and future XEON platforms.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Developing and maintaining Security feature test content to ensure coverage of customer use cases and functional requirements
• Developing and maintaining Platform validation test plans and methods to meet the quality goals of Intel server products
• Developing and maintaining Intel platform validation process and methodologies
• Drive issues to closure by proactive hands-on work and/or coordination with relevant stakeholders.
• Drive complex issue debug at the intersection of platform HW/SoC and FW/SW ingredients, risk assessment, and retrospective analysis.
• Broad understanding of multiple system areas, improving post silicon test content, and providing feedback for future programs.
Our Security Feature validation team is responsible for Platform Validation, including End-to-End validation strategy, test content development, execution, and debug for Intel's datacenter Security features. Our team interacts with Scalable and Advanced Performance Xeon server product lines. We work in pre and post Silicon environments (simulation/N-1) and with open/closed chassis systems. You will work with other teams across Intel including hardware and software architects, silicon design and debug teams, and software/firmware organizations.
Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Candidate must possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or related STEM field.
• 10+ years of technology related experience.
• 5+ years of Validation Experience and debugging and troubleshoot complex problems.
• 5+ years of industry experience in computer platform security, cryptography, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in technical leadership roles
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in working with Virtualization or Container environments, ex. ESXi, KVM, Hyper-V, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Experience in CPU and/or SOC micro-architecture
• Experience in technology domains such as Artificial Intelligence, Communication, PCIe, I2C, SMbus, Security, RAS, Manageability, Power Management, and Memory technologies.
• Experience in software and/or hardware testing and tools JTAG/ITP, kernel debugger.
• Experience in OS debug, kernel, or driver knowledge with Windows and/or Linux.
