Manages India & territories network operations of country depots, regional hubs, transporters, customs brokers, and partners. 
- Manages and works with internal and external partners and 3PLs within the forward and reverse logistics operations for systems and aftermarket parts. - Oversees the order management function for India sub regions. 
- Resolves issues in distribution, customs, suppliers’ / carriers’ operations. 
- Measures and monitors operations / 3PL performance via KPIs, conducts regular audits, and reviews. 
- Drives continuous improvement programs, initiates, and operationalizes cost reduction initiatives, innovates and develops solutions to solves issues and enhance processes, systems, reports, infrastructure and organizes a variety of logistics activities to deliver results in the APAC region. 
- Engages regional and country management and stakeholders in different functional departments and businesses to understand requirements and strategies; develop plans or recommendations to operations to help fulfil requirements and delivers solutions for operational excellence. 
- Is accountable for operational excellence, cost and continuous improvement of operations assigned. 

- Duties include but are not limited to managing region or country daily network operations, 3PL / partner management, regular data analysis and operations optimization, delivering short- and long-term productivity / cost reduction projects, leading continuous improvement teams, KPI management and regular reporting. 
- Also serves as liaison between India region management, service and installation teams and logistics operations. Participates in developing logistics strategy, plans and procedures for APAC region.
- This position provides a wide variety of activities, learning and exposure to supply chain and logistics operations in India & Territories countries and many opportunities to engage subject matter experts and operational professionals, lead projects and present solutions and results to senior management and stakeholders across multiple business units and functions.

- Support India head of logistics in supply chain and network operations analysis, research for innovations and logistics trends, operations review etc. Lead regional or global projects from investigation, solutioning, deployment, tracking and documentation 

Minimum Required Skills and Knowledge:

  • Experience in logistics and supply chain operations including warehouse and transport management, customs processes, regulatory requirements for medical devices and spare parts and in 3PL operations
  • Working experience as a customer / program manager in a 3PL MNC is an advantage
  • Work with cross functional teams with proven project management experience and preferably proficiency in MS Project or similar tools
  • Hands on with SAP MIS/data analysis and familiar with Power BI tool
  • Experience in a regional logistics/consulting/process improvement role an advantage
  • Presentation skills and experience presenting to middle management on projects, KPIs, cost etc.

Other Desired Skills and Knowledge:

  • Familiarity with Indian customs regulations, SCM fundamentals is desirable.
  • Willingness to learn
  • Hands on approach to solving problems with little guidance.
  • Fluency in English language.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in any stream preferred
  • Logistics or Supply Chain Management Diploma or Degree an advantage
  • 5 years of related experience or Bachelor's Degree with 8 years of related experience. 

Experience Level with Business Tools:

  • Proficient in utilizing business tools such as:  E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. 
  • Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP product and productivity software desired.
  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools, Optimization tools is an advantage
