This is an Area medical leadership position for the HIV and Global Health Therapeutic Area and the incumbent will be accountable for providing the vision and leadership in the Area for HIV (prevention and treatment. You will be accountable for ensuring the medical organization for HIV and Global Health TA has the right capacity and capabilities and for performance of the medical operational plans and evidence generation in Mexico. This role will represent the area on both the global franchise medical team and appropriate commercial leadership teams.

Lead Medical & Scientific Affairs: Oversee all HIV and Global Health–related medical and scientific activities, ensuring strategic alignment with regional and global therapeutic priorities.
Drive Medical Strategy: Develop and execute local medical plans, optimizing resources to achieve therapeutic objectives and support the appropriate use of medicines in treatment and prevention.
Foster Scientific Partnerships: Build and maintain trusted relationships with external medical and scientific leaders to advance knowledge exchange and strengthen scientific credibility.
Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Serve as a key medical partner to commercial and regional teams, providing expert input on promotional, launch, and engagement strategies.
Develop and Lead Teams: Mentor, train, and support Local Medical Managers and MSLs, promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional excellence.
Enable Performance and Innovation: Guide local clinical and evidence generation strategies, measure medical impact through clear performance metrics, and champion data-driven decision-making.
Basic Qualifications
We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals:
Degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, or Life Sciences.
Proven Experience or knowledge in the Infectiology field.
Proficiency in English, written an spoken.
Soft skills such as a crossfunctional colaboration, teamwork and influence skills.
Preferred Qualification
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
Experience in the pharmaceutical industry
