The Impact:

The S&P Managed Service group is seeking a qualified Specialist for placement within a project team servicing Third Party Risk Management. Successful candidates will assume a role which includes providing direction to a team managing project execution as it pertains to Third Party Risk Management for our clients in-scope vendor and sub-contractor population. Candidates with experience in understanding and applying Third Party Risk Management are of particular interest. People and process management experience is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Operational support basis customer requirements on one or more products. This includes setting up accounts and users, running reports, researching on entities, supporting customers on their regulatory and compliance needs and mapping entities and vendors. Could involve first level of troubleshooting as well.
  • Become highly skilled in understanding and maintaining Operational Processes, including assisting peers and leadership with creating SOPs, UAT testing and implementing a quality control review of operational activities.
  • Ensure all customers receive first class service consistent with S&P’s expectations including but not limited to identifying and resolving client issues, following up with clients based off SLAs, assisting with ad hoc projects and client inquiries/needs as required.
  • Understand business needs and objectives.
  • Develop strategies for effective data analysis and reporting.
  • Define metrics and relevant data sources.
  • Select, configure, and implement analytics solutions.
  • Oversee all analytics operations to correct discrepancies and ensure quality.
  • Extract reports from multiple sources (e.g. operations, IT, customer feedback)
  • Build systems to transform raw data into actionable business insights.
  • Apply industry knowledge to interpret data and improve performance.
  • Keep abreast of industry news and trends.
  • Work with business partners to validate the integrity of data and documents maintained.
  • Evaluate scope of work/project plans and make recommendations for improved process plans.
  • Manage relationships with clients, internal teams, and all stakeholders.
  • Identify and work to resolve gaps in process or project execution.
  • Develop long-term relationships with existing clients, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders.
  • Must utilize strong adaptability skills and become an expert on our proprietary products, through classroom, web and on the job training and experience.
  • Work through new requirement discussions with the client and identify short-term workarounds.
  • Ability to foster, develop and grow a team.
  • Flexibility to work across UK and US shifts on a rotational basis.

What We’re Looking For:

Business Competencies:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of proven hands-on experience required on Data Visualisation, Management Reporting, Presentations and VBA
  • Data analysis and reporting skills with Advance knowledge of MS Excel, VBA and Presentation is required
  • Knowledge of Excel, R and SQL; familiarity with business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau, SAS)
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities and communicate effectively with clients
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with a focus on quality and process.
  • Ability to maintain and report Key Performance Indicator (KPI) metrics to upper management.
  • Must be able to work collaboratively with team members, both senior and junior.
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Strong communication skills with exceptional presentation expertise.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Prior experience in Risk or Vendor related domain is preferred
  • Have an excellent client service ethos and be able to communicate effectively with onshore team.
