Job Description:

About the Role

You will be a member of the pharmacy team responsible for providing comprehensive high quality medicine management to patients in different areas of the hospital.
 

Duties include:
• Provide high-level clinical pharmacy service

• Obtains and documents full and accurate best possible medication histories

• Safely dispenses medications in a timely manner

• Aseptic dispensing including cytotoxic manufacturing

• Patient counselling and liaising with other health professionals


Classifications for this position will range from SW5 - SW10 ($66,908 - $89,986 per annum, pro rata).

Your Contribution

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent with AHPRA pharmacist registration

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Excellent team player
• Current Nationally Coordinated criminal history check, or willing to obtain
• Hospital pharmacy experience preferred (not essential)

About Pharmacy
St Vincent’s Hospital Pharmacy service provides high quality pharmacy service to St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne, St George’s Hospital, Caritas Christi Hospice and correctional facilities managed by St Vincent’s Hospital. Pharmacy services are decentralised and are provided from several satellite pharmacist located on wards and in treatment areas.
