The Onboarding Manager owns the end-to-end onboarding experience for a self-managed book of business, serving as the primary driver of successful launches and early performance. This role requires a highly self-directed professional who combines operational ownership, technical fluency, and proactive problem-solving to move work forward independently. About the Team
The onboarding team supports new partners through their most critical early lifecycle stages, operating with a high degree of trust, autonomy, and accountability. Each manager independently owns a portfolio of partners while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to remove blockers and accelerate readiness. This role directly impacts retention, performance, and growth by ensuring partners are operationally sound, compliant, and positioned for long-term success.
What You’ll Do - Own a self-managed book of business, supporting multiple partners through onboarding, launch, and early optimization
- Provide hands-on tactical and technical support across setup, verification, catalog, shipping, fulfillment, and returns
- Build strong cross-functional relationships to align priorities, escalate issues, and drive timely resolution
- Proactively identify risks, performance gaps, and operational blockers before they impact success
- Act as a trusted advisor by translating tools, policies, and metrics into clear, actionable guidance
What You’ll Bring - Experience managing a portfolio or book of business with full ownership and minimal oversight
- Strong technical aptitude, including comfort navigating multiple systems and using data to drive decisions
- Proven ability to proactively resolve complex operational issues through influence and escalation
- Advanced organizational and prioritization skills in a high-volume, fast-moving environment
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally while maintaining clear accountability for outcomes
