Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City is currently seeking a highly motivated registered nurse to join our team at Saint Luke’s Hospital Liver Biliary & Pancreatic Center. This full-time position will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team consisting of  Hepatologist, Transplant Surgeons, Advance Practice Providers, RNs, LPNs, MAs, and ancillary clinic team members.

Responsibilities include:

  • Phone Triage for physician for assigned group of patients.
  • May be asked room patients.
  • Patient discharge.
  • Schedules emergent-need appointments.
  • Handles patient follow-up calls.
  • Provides patient education on particular procedures and processes.
  • Acts as the subject matter expert in respective specialty for hospital RNs in the units.
  • Regularly meets with other disciplines to share best practices on care treatments.
  • Will have face-to-face contact with patients.
  • Patient care time within the clinic typically is for patients with a long-term treatment process.

Job Requirements

Applicable Experience:

Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross, Registered Nurse (KS) - National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS), Registered Nurse (MO) - National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS)

Bachelor's Degree - Nursing
