The Senior Director, Marketing Technology Program Management & Enablement supports the delivery of the marketing technology roadmap and helps ensure that delivered capabilities are adopted by the marketing teams they serve. The role partners closely with marketing stakeholders, platform owners, and development teams to understand business needs, translate them into clear requirements, and coordinate delivery through testing and launch.

This position brings structure to cross-functional work by managing intake, requirements, dependencies, readiness activities, and stakeholder communications. The role also leads enablement and adoption activities for new platforms, workflows, data products, and governance practices so that teams can use them effectively.

Responsibilities

Stakeholder Partnership, Requirements & Program Delivery

  • Partner with marketing stakeholders and functional leads to understand technology, data, reporting, and analytics needs.
  • Manage the intake and prioritization process for marketing technology requests, providing clear visibility into demand, capacity, dependencies, and delivery considerations.
  • Lead requirements-gathering and solution-definition activities, translating stakeholder goals into clear technical requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and success measures in partnership with platform and development teams.
  • Lead complex, cross-functional programs from concept through launch and value realization, connecting teams across marketing, technology, data, operations, and external partners.
  • Maintain alignment between stakeholder needs and delivered functionality throughout design, development, testing, and deployment; clarify requirements, resolve open questions, and support solution decisions.
  • Build integrated plans that bring visibility to milestones, dependencies, risks, and decisions—creating momentum while keeping teams focused on the critical path.
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing, release readiness, and early-life support, including test planning, participant identification, defect triage, stakeholder sign-off, and user validation.
  • Partner with vendors and implementation partners to deliver excellent outcomes across scope, quality, timing, and value.

Enablement & Adoption

  • Design and execute an engaging adoption strategy for platforms, workflows, data products, and governance practices—helping teams build new habits and realize value faster.
  • Serve as a senior voice of the marketing stakeholder community, continuously surfacing needs and translating feedback into an evolving technology and enablement agenda.
  • Create scalable learning experiences, including role-based training, onboarding, communities of practice, and practical playbooks that make it easy for teams to succeed.
  • Define and share meaningful adoption and value metrics, such as active usage, feature adoption, license utilization, time to productivity, and business benefits, using insights to continuously improve the experience.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in technology program management, marketing technology, business analysis, or a related field, including 5 years leading cross-functional technology initiatives.
  • Experience delivering marketing technology platforms, such as marketing automation, CRM, content management, workflow, or data and analytics systems.
  • Experience gathering business requirements and managing them through design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Experience designing and delivering adoption, enablement, or change-management activities for business stakeholders.
  • Experience developing training, practical user resources, and communications for non-technical audiences.
  • Experience defining and reporting adoption and benefits-realization metrics.
  • Working knowledge of program and project delivery methodologies, including Agile and waterfall approaches.
  • Strong facilitation, written communication, and executive presentation skills.
  • Ability to influence and align stakeholders across functions.
