Role Overview:

As a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET), you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our cloud solutions. You will leverage your expertise in testing methodologies and automation frameworks to design, implement, and maintain comprehensive test suites and working closely with developers in and across the teams.

About the Role:

  • Automation Engineering: Design and implement scalable, maintainable automation frameworks, with a strong preference for Robot Framework using Python.

  • Testing Infrastructure: Proactively maintain and enhance the underlying test infrastructure, developing mocks, stubs, and specialized tools to streamline execution.

  • Performance & Resilience: Develop and execute tools focused on non-functional quality aspects, specifically targeting system performance and architectural resilience.

  • Bug Advocacy & Root Cause Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of test failures to minimize false positives and advocate for critical fixes through detailed, data-driven bug reporting.

  • CI/CD Integration: Regularly monitor and analyze test results within the deployment pipeline to ensure consistent high-quality releases.

  • Exploratory Testing: Go beyond automated scripts by conducting complex exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and hidden defects.

About You:

  • Experience: You have 2.5–5 years of professional experience in a dedicated SDET or Automation Engineer role, showing a clear progression in technical ownership.

  • Technical Translator: You can effectively translate design requirements into actionable quality process requirements and test plans.

  • Being Collaborative: You enjoy participating in feature and component from the design phases to ensure "testability" is built-in from the beginning.

  • Problem Solver: You possess the ability to reproduce complex production bugs in lab environments and provide the technical findings needed for rapid resolution.

  • Agile Mindset: You thrive in environments where you can influence the culture of quality, providing constructive feedback to speed up overall issue analysis.

Good to Have:

  • Data Fluency: Experience querying and managing data using MySQL or similar databases for troubleshooting and issue verification.

  • Modern Tooling: Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, Artifactory.

  • Domain Knowledge: Security domain knowledge is an added advantage
