Proposal Manager Nordics

Description -

The Northwest Europe Sales Operations organization is an amazing team to be part of. We are looking for a Proposal Manager to complement our team.

The Proposal Manager will be actively involved in the tender operations end to end and will drive or participate to the tender summaries, will apply project management to the deal, will document and maintain the tender overview and status, will drive analysis, and do the proposal development including texting and localization.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicates project status, process standards and changes, and issues and workarounds, clearly and succinctly to business and operations support team.

  • Owns the research and data analysis for complex projects;

  • Represents the needs of the business or function during process improvement projects.

  • Collaborates with operational teams and business stakeholders to gather business requirements, supporting the design of new or improved process, and understands business/customer impact.

  • Utilizes standard project management and quality improvement methodologies in process improvement approaches.

  • Drives projects and implements process changes in order to meet ongoing business objectives.

  • Identifies new tenders and builds the first material for a business decision, works with the given resources and tools to store bidding documents or contribute with the creation of new ones.

  • Consults and supports sales reps with formulating questions and answers related to the bids in progress.

  • Creates and maintains a regular governance on the proposal management activity as aligned with the stakeholders.

Education and Experience Required:

  • First-level university degree or equivalent experience; may have advanced university degree.

  • Typically 4-6 years of related experience in IT/business operations.

  • Typically 3-5 years of project management experience.

  • Quality improvement training required.

  • APMP is a plus

  • Public tender experience is a plus

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Thorough knowledge of the tender operational processes, industry trends, and customer/partner requirements.

  • Broad understanding of core HP businesses and the revenue cycle.

  • Strong communication skills (i.e. written, verbal, presentation). Mastery in English and Danish/Swedesh/Norwegian.

  • Strong knowledge of process area, experience with process improvement projects and ability to provide suggestions for process improvements.

  • Demonstrated project management, problem solving, and analytical skills.

  • Basic financial and business acumen.

  • Passionate about a positive experience engineering for our sales, customers and partners
