What You Will Do:

The candidate will support strategic initiatives and operational activities at Guidehouse Clients. This position will be responsible for advising senior-level Client relationships, implementing strategic initiatives, executing long term programmatic planning efforts, strategically responding to emerging priorities, and operating within matrixed teams within a Client Office.

This Position will

  • Develop a strategy for business support, technical advisement, performance assessment, support services, and overall quality assurance of government IT contracts.

  • Advise on assessment, technical management, update, and oversight of current and future Independent Validation, and Verification (IV&V) processes, procedures, and controls with an objective of achieving high mission impact.

  • Define and validate new key performance metrics aligned with overall mission strategy and goals.

  • Support the strategy, development, management, and use of available and futures platform and tools dealing with IV&V and performance assessment of IT contracts and proposals.

  • Provide support on change management and operating procedures for existing and future practices on IV&V and performance assessment aligned it to the strategy goals, tools, and platforms.

  • Collaborate with a team of analysts and experts dealing with IV&V and performance assessment and provide support on requisite training and skill development.

  • Provide support to the review and validation of technical solutions provided by multiple vendors.

  • Provide technical support on compliance to cyber risk management, and other related regulations.

  • Support the client management and stakeholders to plan for and address risks and issues as they occur, to ensure that the project remains on schedule and within budget.

What You Will Need:

  • Ability to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DHS Public Trust

  • Bachelor's degree.

  • ONE (1) or more years of experience in consulting, project management and/or analysis and communications 

What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Existing TSA or DHS Suitability.

  • Experience supporting federal government customers and/or prior experience within the federal government.

  • Relevant certifications including but not limited to: PMP and/or Scrum-master certification, SAFe Certification, ITIL Certification.

  • Showing extensive skills including the ability to liaise with technical and business teams and clearly articulate technology concepts to business audiences.

  • Demonstrated facilitation and presentation skills targeting all levels of an organization and across business and technical functions leveraging visualization platforms (PowerBI, Tableau, Powerpoint).

  • Support acquisition, procurement, and contracting, according to the DHS acquisition lifecycle framework (ALF), including in areas of acquisition program management, capability gap analyses, IT Acquisition Review (ITAR), Capital Planning and Investment Control (CPIC), Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), and Purchase Acquisition Requests lifecycle.
