Job Description Summary:
This position has two primary areas of responsibility, Pulmonary Services and Heart & Vascular Services.Responsibilities And Duties:
1. 50%: Daily operations - Monitors staffing needs and distribution of resources; monitors staffing assignments and productivity; identifies and implements quality improvements; logs incident reports and implements corrective action plans when needed; coordinates respiratory care services with nursing units and physicians; identifies opportunities for computer application and other increased efficiencies; monitors optimal use of all resources; monitors student affiliation activities; reviews, updates, and develops policies and procedures; insures consistent interpretation and implementation of hospital/department policies and procedures; Provides direct leadership to both Respiratory & Heart/Vascular managers; Ensures lean daily operations are effectively executed in all areas of responsibilityMinimum Qualifications:
