Hitachi Energy, a leading company in the energy sector, is expanding its team of developers responsible for the development of the engineering platform dedicated to designing Hitachi Energy products. The team is expanding due to high market demand and the need to quickly deliver new software functionalities, in line with the growing product portfolio and the high demand for improved calculation accuracy.

As a developer in the team, you will play a key role in implementing new functionalities requested by clients. You will have the opportunity to implement solutions for web applications, Azure cloud applications, and desktop applications.

How you will make an impact

• Analyze business requirements to ensure our solutions meet client needs;
• Design and develop innovative applications that drive company growth;
• Ensure high quality and reliability in our software by writing comprehensive unit tests;
• Refactor existing code to improve performance and maintainability;
• Create detailed technical documentation to support long-term project success;
• Collaborate with an international team to share knowledge and drive projects forward;
• Continuously seek ways to improve our development processes and product offerings.
   

Your background

• Higher education, second-degree studies (preferred technical fields: computer science, electrical engineering, automation and robotics, mechatronics, physics), at least 4 years of experience as software developer;
• Proficiency with the .NET technology, combined with algorithmic skills and efficient solving of mathematical problems.
• Experience with MS SQL, Azure DevOps, GIT is welcome;
• Basic knowledge of electrotechnics;
• Excellent communication and analytical skills;
• Very good knowledge of English, enabling fluent communication in an international environment;
