Job Summary
Manage a team and be responsible for the sales and activities of EP in Hong Kong and Macau. May conduct effectiveness reviews of calls/sales activities, and territory analysis. Services accounts, suggests, and presents new products. As appropriate, assists marketing personnel on advertising and promotional sales strategies.
Job Responsibilities
•Development of a strategic business plan to achieve the goals for the territory.
•As a people manager of the EP team and provide coaching to achieve desired business results.
•Establish a market leadership position for Abbott’s EP products
•Develop and maintain strong relationships with our key customers in the territory
•Implementing the Marketing Programs and Strategies that are created by the Marketing Division
in a way that meets the needs and requirements of the Hong Kong & Macau market
•Working with the Clinical Programs Manager to develop new clinical opportunities for Hong Kong & Macau market
•To establish and meet the financial goals of the Division
•Strong interpersonal skills to interface with key internal and external customers
•Strong negotiation / Contracting skills
•Ability to deal with high profile EP customers and Hospital Administrators
•Strong administrative skills to maintain and improve divisional processes for the management of
physical inventory located within assigned territory.
•Ability to identify market trends through market analysis and to develop Action Plans to address
market trends.
•Collects and studies information about new and existing products and monitors competitor sales, prices and products.
•May attend trade shows where new products and technologies are showcased and conferences
to meet other sales representatives and clients and discuss new product developments.
•Serve as back up in the absence of other EP team members
•Handle and process customer complaints in timely manner and according to Abbott policy and
requirement
•Ensure applicable standard operating procedures of Abbott are executed
Requirements: Education and Experience
•Excellent leadership skills to lead a team and assist the members in achieving their targets
•Proven sales track record and network in the industry
•Great business acumen and strong leadership skill
•Solid track record in go‐to‐market strategy, product marketing, product portfolio management,
new product launches, business development
•Degree holder in biomedical engineering, life science or any related discipline
•Minimum 8 years of medical sales and marketing experience
•Good command of both verbal and written English and Chinese
