The role will report to the Latin America Card Product Head and will be responsible to manage the Travel & Entertainment product for Latin America.
This includes the development of the product strategy, ideation of product features and BRDs to be deployed in local markets, ensuring product profitability, client engagement and experience and in compliance with regulations and internal controls.
The candidate for this position will work closely with multiple teams at Country, Cluster and Global level.
Responsibilities:
Develop cluster product strategy aligned with global objectives. This includes product development asks, commercialization, servicing and pricing.
Oversee performance of the product and drive business initiatives to reach defined goals in coordination with local product managers.
Lead cluster initiatives for internal (e.g. NAC) and regulatory approvals. Also drive closure of any approval condition.
Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, pricing needs and new opportunities for the T&E product.
Conduct training programs for local product managers and Sales across cluster to promote strategic product commercialization and growth.
Collaborate with operations, technology, service and controls teams to ensure product is operating within client expectations and corporate targets.
Work with Service teams to address and resolve customer issues and feedback (items escalated to cluster)
Lead and oversight of the remediation of issues associated with the operation of T&E in Latam in coordination with internal parties
Identify partnerships to support the business and negotiate contracts.
Lead the review and approval of the annual PAP reviews for T&E in coordination with the local product teams
This role will be the Business Owner of cluster applications associated to the product and associated records
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in credit card products.
Strategic mindset and analytical skills that closely follows latest trends and data insights, and adapts them for application within own business
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate and influence at all levels
Extremely high level of attention to detail, excellent organization skills, with the ability to work under pressure and prioritize within tight deadlines
Demonstrated ability to interact, develop materials, and work with senior leaders across the organization
Ability to work as part of a team, with a high degree of collaboration with cross functional teams
Ability to influence broadly and think outside the box, communicating clearly and frequently to both technical analysts and non-technical business leaders
Must be bi-lingual (English/Spanish)
Education:
Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
