Who you are:

As a Portfolio Manager with Frost Investments Advisors, you will be responsible for managing assets within proprietary strategies developed by Frost Investment Advisors, LLC. More than that, this role is about building relationships and doing so with integrity, caring, and excellence in mind.

What you’ll do:

  • Manage and supervise deployment of strategies for clients within an assigned group of accounts, ensuring deployed strategy fits specific client objectives
  • Provide guidance and oversight regarding department operations through participation in assigned committees
  • Participate in the testing and evaluation of Investment Adviser operations to ensure that the adviser continues to satisfy its responsibilities to clients
  • Mentor and provide guidance to lower level staff
  • Assist with business development efforts for Frost
  • Contribute to the asset review committee, analyzing assets for inclusion on the approved investment list
  • Always take action using Integrity, Caring, and Excellence to achieve all-win outcomes

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline
  • 5+ years experience in a portfolio management role overseeing investment accounts in a fiduciary manner at an investment adviser or financial services organization OR 3+ years experience in a portfolio management role along with a Master’s degree in an appropriate discipline, a CFA or a CFP
  • Thorough understanding of financial markets/security types and the ability to communicate concepts to clients
  • Experience managing and/or advising on multi-asset class portfolios
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and work effectively under pressure
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft computer applications

Additional Preferred Skills:

  • Master’s degree in an appropriate discipline
  • CFA or other financial industry designations
  • Experience with industry tools such as Advent, Bloomberg, and FactSet
  • Experience making public presentations
