Overview

We are looking for a seasoned professional who can design and implement enterprise-grade data solutions, lead data engineering initiatives, and drive data governance frameworks on Microsoft Azure. This hybrid role combines technical depth with strategic leadership, ensuring robust, scalable, and compliant data ecosystems that power analytics, AI, and business operations.

Your role

• Design and implement end-to-end data solutions on Microsoft Azure, including data lakes, data warehouses, and ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Develop scalable architectures for large-scale data processing and analytics workloads.
• Strong proficiency in data engineering and software development; experience with programming languages such as Python, SQL.
• Ensure high performance, security, and regulatory compliance within Azure data solutions.
• Lead data governance initiatives, including data quality, metadata management, lineage, and compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA).
• Optimize cloud-based data infrastructure for performance, cost-effectiveness, and scalability.
• Monitor and resolve issues related to performance, availability, and cost management.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Analysts, and other stakeholders to build and maintain data pipelines and infrastructure that enable advanced analytics and AI workloads.

About you

• 6+ years of experience in data engineering and data governance.
• Deep hands-on experience with Azure Data Services.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Fabric or similar modern data platforms.
• Expertise in data modeling and distributed data processing (batch and streaming).
• Proficiency in SQL, Python; experience with MS SQL Server, Oracle, or similar RDBMS platform.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
• Experience in Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipeline development.
• Strong understanding of data governance frameworks.
• Experience with data governance tools (e.g., Collibra, Informatica).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Certification in data governance or data management a plus.
