About Salesforce

We’re Salesforce, the Customer Company, inspiring the future of business with AI+ Data +CRM. Leading with our core values, we help companies across every industry blaze new trails and connect with customers in a whole new way. And, we empower you to be a Trailblazer, too — driving your performance and career growth, charting new paths, and improving the state of the world. If you believe in business as the greatest platform for change and in companies doing well and doing good – you’ve come to the right place.

Our Business Strategists in the State and Local sector guide passionate, high-performing, collaborative teams focused on delivering complex, ground-breaking strategy engagements. We interactively engage CxO-level customers, craft innovative, experience-led strategies which clearly define the vision, program success metrics and executable roadmaps which achieve desired business outcomes. We work with our key customers, partners, and technical delivery leaders to drive scale, speed to value and a sustained landscape for future success.

The right candidate will bring technology-enabled, large-scale business transformation experience and knowledge of industry trends in state and local government, demonstrating this credibility as a strategic advisor to our customers, partners, and internal Salesforce teams. Critical to the role is the ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges as you drive customer efficiencies, c
ost savings, and quick innovation available on the Salesforce platform. This highly analytical and visionary advisor will identify emerging opportunities, conduct comprehensive white space analyses, and drive strategic sales initiatives. In this role, you will assess untapped markets, uncover growth areas, and create reusable go-to-market strategies and assets that empower our teams to implement with precision and scale. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to synthesize market insights, develop actionable strategies, and align diverse team members on a common path forward, ensuring Business and IT executives adopt joint ownership for results. Your efforts will culminate in the execution of key strategies that will support the team's efforts in building a sales pipeline and achieving their annual bookings quota.

We believe the best strategists are those who obsess over the creation of customer and business value and are trusted advisors with internal partners. Experience in navigating large scale organizations to lead change quickly is a must. The ideal candidate will have a customer-centric and collaborative mentality, willing to go above and beyond for the customer, and will break down barriers in order to ensure customer success!
