Position Summary
This position will support the Senior Supplemental Insurance Actuarial team by supporting annual rate filing process for the Medicare Supplement products.

This position's responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) assisting SSI Actuarial team members with the following items:
- Creating and filing Medicare Supplement rate recommendations to various State Departments of Insurance
- Communicating directly with various State DOIs concerning objection questions
- Assisting with experience analysis

Required Qualifications

- 0-2 years of actuarial experience
- 1+ actuarial exams passed

- Prior experience working with Microsoft Excel
- Good communication and problem solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

- Prior Actuarial work experience

- 2+ Actuarial exams
- Exposure to either SERFF, data manipulation via coding, or model building

- Experience working with SQL, Python, VBA, and/or SAS


Education
- Bachelor's Degree or higher

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$43,888.00 - $93,574.80

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
