Overview:
This entry-level sales candidate will be a highly motivated, self-starter able to identify and develop new business prospects from multiple sources including inbound marketing leads, prospect lists, discovery and individual research. A dynamic personality with a drive to reach decision makers is essential! The Sales Development Representative will be responsible for generating leads for the existing sales team with extended duties including handling client support requests, prospecting, qualifying new sales leads, in addition to hunting whitespace for new logos.
You will:
Be the first point of contact for new business prospects and determine the next steps for each prospect moving forward
Create and manage sales pipeline of new business opportunities in SalesForce within a territory through following leads from marketing and other sources plus generating potential from face to face needs discovery calls with customers.
Support sales colleagues on outbound strategies and lead generating efforts
Establish active communication and engagement with prospects to create new leads and sales openings
Collaborate with sales teams by creating innovative lead generation ideas
Assist sales colleagues by responding to client support requests
Provide clients, both internal and external, with timely assistance as required to help build and cultivate prospect relationships in order to move opportunities through the sales funnel.
Help to drive leads and online traffic with web-based activities and programs in partnership with the Marketing function.
Build a strong network & relationships with the key decision makers within the customer to deepen penetration of sales of Dow Jones OPIS’ and CMA products and services
You have:
Bachelor’s Degree in Chemicals, Science or related technical field is preferred
Working knowledge of the Energy industry is a plus
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English and Korean
Must be proficient in MS Excel, Word, Teams; experience using Sales Force and/or LinkedIn Sales Navigator or other similar prospecting applications is preferred.
Excellent interpersonal skills and phone/email presence; must be able to deal with others in a pleasant manner and work under varying degrees of pressure and time constraints
Ability to work independently while still interacting within an integrated team structure
A team player that recognizes and contributes to the overall goals of the team
Personal initiative and ability to prioritize and multi-task efficiently and effectively
Demonstrated success in uncover business potential through pre-sales preparation work and with good understanding of the client’s needs to progressing lead
TRAVEL: Limited travel unless occasionally for conferences / exhibitions but will not be more than 10-15% of the time when needed
