POSITION SUMMARY:

The Senior SailPoint Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining identity governance solutions with the enterprise IGA system. This role supports enterprise-wide identity lifecycle management, access provisioning, and compliance initiatives. The engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams to automate access controls, integrate applications, and enhance security posture through scalable and efficient identity solutions. Key responsibilities include onboarding applications, building connectors, implementing role-based access controls (RBAC), and supporting audit readiness across identity and access management (IAM) domains.

DESCRIPTION:

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead the administration, engineering, and development of SailPoint IIQ instance
  • Develop custom integration, workflows, and rules between SailPoint and end-point applications
  • Monitor, identify, and resolve bugs and process deficiencies within SailPoint workflows and integrations
  • Support EOS/EOL upgrades for SailPoint IIQ
  • Participate in planning, implementation, enforcement, and review of IAM security policies.
  • Prepare support documentation for IAM architecture and solution designs
  • Analyze and debug Application/Client Server connectivity problems.
  • Perform SDLC processes including designing and developing applications.
  • Participate in the implementation of new features and integration scenarios
  • Work with technical and business users to gather and implement requirements.
  • Make key technical decisions and effectively execute the implementation of the IGA solution.
  • Performs related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
  • Equivalent experience includes 6+ years in Identity Access Management (IAM).
  • Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience designing and implementing SailPoint.
  • Experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ and ISC, strategy, design, implementation, and operations.
  • Experience with other programming languages including Java, Python, JavaScript, and SQL.
  • Expertise working with JDBC, REST API, SCIM.

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills.
