In this role you’ll make an impact by:

  • Providing strategy suggestions and analysis to regional and global leadership about related policies/regulations/standards.

  • Identifying opportunities and threats arising from developments in the public and societal domain and to develop appropriate influencing strategies.

  • Working with relevant central government organizations, such as MARA, NHC, SAMR, MIIT, MEE and other ministries and local government to advocate for favorable policy environment and protect business. 

  • Working with academia and third-party consultancies in the formulation of credible studies and reports in support of biotech. 

  • Leveraging on Danish and European diplomatic channels for the advocacy.

  • Working with industry associations and Chambers of Commerce for policy suggestions.

  • Other tasks delegated by line manager.



Potentially relevant experience:

  • Strong interpersonal communications skills.

  • Strategic mindset and analytical thinking and purposeful/strong writing skills.

  • Keen understanding of political/policy agenda and capability to translate it into commercial perspectives. 

  • A minimal 8-year related experience on government affairs or public affairs related area. Working experience with government Org or association is an advantage.

  • Fluent in spoken and written English.

  • Bachelor’s degree or above.

  • Travel is required.
