Aeronautics Systems sector is seeking a Project Manager or Principal Project Manager to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals onsite at the Melbourne, Florida,

This position is for the role of a Program Integrator. The selected candidate will be part of a diverse organization of project integrators within the Program Operations Homeroom. The candidate is responsible to oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects, and serve as the liaison between program management and integrated product teams.

Job Responsibilities 

  • The individual will integrate activities within the IPT and across assigned programs to optimize performance. 
  • Program integration statement of work will be in the following areas: Program Definition Documents; Strategic Rhythm;
  • Processes, Tools & Infrastructure; Risk & Opportunity Management; Requirements Management; 
  • Staffing Integration; Earned Value Management to include being a Control Account Manager; 
  • Program Reviews & Presentations; Milestones; Proposal Management; Dashboards / Metrics; Customer Engagement & Satisfaction; Risk, Opportunity, Issue Management; Action Items and Follow-through. 
  • They will interact weekly with Government counterparts on the team’s progression.  

Basic Qualifications for Project Manager:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of experience in Project Management, Program Integration/Execution, and/or another relevant field or Master's degree with 1 year of experience in Project Management, Program Integration/Execution, and/or another relevant field
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tool suite; the ability to create, manage, and manipulate the tools, especially PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Knowledge of Project Management principles and experience utilizing them professionally
  • Experience preparing and presenting presentations
  • CURRENT and ACTIVE DoD Secret Clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the Company to meet its business needs.  

Basic Qualifications for Principal Project Manager:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 6 years of experience in Project Management, Program Integration/Execution, and/or another relevant field or Master's degree and 4 years of experience in Project Management, Program Integration/Execution, and/or another relevant field
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tool suite; the ability to create, manage, and manipulate the tools, especially PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Knowledge of Project Management principles and experience utilizing them professionally
  • Experience preparing and presenting presentations
  • CURRENT and ACTIVE DoD Secret Clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the Company to meet its business needs.  

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Control Account Manager (CAM)
  • In depth knowledge of Project Management principles and experience utilizing them professionally. (Managing projects, scheduling, budget)
  • Master's degree in Project Management
  • PMP certification
  • Scrum Master certification

Salary Range: $62,200.00 - $93,400.00Salary Range 2: $76,600.00 - $115,000.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
