Daikin Applied is seeking a HVAC Sales Specialist in Long Island City! What you will do:
Lead the sale of HVAC parts, equipment and supplies over the phone and in person interacting with customers daily.
Support internal sales team by providing overall technical support and researching options including, but not limited to receiving and processing orders, product and service questions, warranty administration and overall customer complaints.
Research competitive information to competitively price all inventory while maintaining a solid profit margin.
Create a comprehensive marketing strategy for the direct sales parts office and determine the most efficient avenues to achieve or exceed overall revenue goals.
Drive customer policy enhancements based on need and makes exceptions to customer policies and procedures where appropriate.
Grow current customer base by growing the number of customers.
Pursues new strategies to grow total office sales both through current and new customers.
Makes regular sales calls to customers.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of HVAC and/or sales experience
OR High school diploma/GED and 8 years of HVAC and/or sales experience
Ability to meet in office requirement

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $38.05 - $45.00/hr in New York. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Additionally, this position is eligible for a sales incentive plan.
