Material Bank is seeking a dynamic and adaptable Account Manager to play a pivotal role in helping our Brand Partners shift from traditional account management to a self-serve experience using our Brand Central Portal. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys navigating change, and has a strong focus on achieving KPIs. Initially, you will work in a more traditional account management capacity, supporting our brands in their daily operations, and over time, you'll lead them through the transition to the self-serve platform.

We’re looking for a flexible, customer-centric individual with strong project management, outbound sales, and upselling capabilities, who can deliver exceptional client service while guiding brands toward greater autonomy. If you're excited to be part of an evolving role and grow alongside the business, this is the opportunity for you.

What You’ll Do:

  • Serve as the primary contact and trusted advisor for our Brand Partners, supporting their needs, objectives, and success on the platform.
  • Facilitate the transition of Brand Partners from traditional account management to a self-serve model via the Brand Central Portal.
  • Develop trusted relationships with brand stakeholders, decision-makers, and executives, ensuring alignment with their business goals and objectives.
  • Analyze brand needs, site activity, and success metrics, offering consultative support to drive performance and adoption of the new self-serve tools.
  • Upsell and cross-sell services and features that enhance brand value and drive engagement.
  • Make outbound calls to develop and expand brand relationships and generate new opportunities for collaboration.
  • Collaborate across the organization to problem-solve, improve brand retention, and provide seamless support during the transition phase.
  • Provide updates and training to Brand Partners on new features, system updates, and best practices within the Brand Central Portal.
  • Support partnership marketing initiatives and maintain strategies that enhance brand success and visibility.
  • Guide brands through change management, helping them leverage new tools and processes to their full potential.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in account management, customer success, or a client-facing role with a focus on relationship building.
  • Demonstrated success in managing change and helping clients transition to new platforms, systems, or processes.
  • Ability to manage complex projects and relationships while identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve client outcomes.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and meet KPIs.
  • Experience with up-selling and cross-selling, identifying new opportunities to drive client value.
  • Proven experience in outbound calling and sales prospecting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, effective across all levels of an organization.
  • Highly organized with exceptional follow-up and follow-through abilities.
  • Tech-savvy with experience in navigating platforms such as Salesforce, Jira, Intercom, and other customer management tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to create and manage reports, analyze data, and build visualizations to support business strategies.
  • Enthusiasm for continuous learning and a growth mindset, with the ability to adapt as the role evolves over time.
