Your future missions:
You will be part of a team ensuring the efficient design, deployment, and evolution of Airbus Helicopters’ Major IT infrastructure to support business needs, while maintaining security, performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness. As part of the Architecture & Projects team, you will be involved in a critical strategic initiative designed to guarantee the "Minimum Viable Company" operations in the event of a major infrastructure failure or cyber-attack.. After an assessment phase that has been done, your mission will be to build a resilient, isolated IT ecosystem that ensures our ability to maintain and deliver aircraft under any circumstances.
This role sits at the intersection of Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, and Business Continuity, requiring a leader who can navigate complex technical layers while managing high-level business expectations.
Your challenges:
Isolated Recovery Environment (IRE): Lead the end-to-end implementation of an isolated "buffer zone." This includes defining and deploying the infrastructure architecture: Network isolation, Identity & Access Management, Hosting (Compute/Storage).
Infrastructure Optimization: Manage the enhancement of existing backup systems to meet the defined Recovery Point Objectives (RPO) for critical applications.
Tooling: Oversee the deployment of "Instant Restore" application tools to minimize downtime during a transition.
Cross-Functional Alignment: Act as the central point of coordination between various Infrastructure Product Service Lines (PSLs), including Connectivity, Digital Workplace, and Identity & Access Management
Project Synergy: Ensure seamless integration with parallel infrastructure programs such as R2P (Ransomware & Resilience Program) and the DataCenter Journey.
Governance: Lead the synchronization of all the stakeholders
Organizational readiness: implement the end to end process ensuring that when the button is pushed, the business can actually function.
Switchover Readiness: Address the project's primary complexity: ensuring a seamless user switchover to the MVC environment on "Day 1" of a crisis.
Business Challenging: Interface with business directorates to challenge and refine their requirements, priorities, and recovery expectations.
Your profile:
Project leadership: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience managing complex, cross divisional IT infrastructure projects, with a strong focus on Infrastructure deployments (network, server, cloud, or digital workplace):
risk analysis
priority management
planning
progress monitoring
reporting
communication
stakeholders management
transversal teams animation
Technical Knowledge: Proven and very good knowledge of all core infrastructure components and technologies (e.g., LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, virtualization, end-user computing, etc.).
Soft Skills :
Strategic Thinking: Ability to translate "Minimum Viable" business needs into technical requirements without "over-dimensioning" the solution.
Influence & Diplomacy: Experience navigating multi-stakeholder environments and driving consensus between technical teams and business leadership.
