Job Description:

An exciting opportunity for a Business Development Professional to join the Corporate Commercial and Growth team in North Sydney. The successful candidate will support the Commercial and Growth team with the research, preparation and analysis of bidding and market development materials for the organisation. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive market research across infrastructure, water and energy sectors.
  • Identify and analyze new mark opportunities, such as data centers, defence in various states. 
  • Prepare new project briefing papers and conduct due diligence on partners, clients, industries. 
  • Update executive summaries and presentations with relevant project information.
  • Contribute detailed information to the project pipeline, including market briefing, questionnaires and industry engagement activities. 
  • Ensure corporate compliance deliverables are met and uploaded in a timely fashion. 
  • Assist with writing, reviewing, and editing tender returnables.
  • Develop and maintain strong internal relationships to coordinate with stakeholders.
  • Coordinate the end-to-end administration of tender budget.
  • Gather and document lessons learned and debrief information post-tender. 
  • Establish data collection and calibration management processes for the analysis of future opportunities, EOIs, pre-contracts and tenders.
  • Undertake research and prepare information that informs FCAU of government and industry investment and project opportunities. 
  • Set up strong coordination and planning between functions (design, procurement, estimation and operations)
  • Prepare statistical analysis and data-driven reports and metrics to identify project performance and predict pipeline and business development outcomes.
  • Coordinate metrics and information that support Ferrovial’s corporate governance obligations and duties. 
  • Support the development of case study libraries for Water, Infrastructure and Energy projects including the coordination with Madrid.

The ideal candidate is tertiary qualified, with previous experience within a construction, manufacturing, and/or heavy industry environment, proven research and reporting capability, effective communication skills and demonstrate initiative and a willingness to learn and grow.
