This role leads how we understand our customers, how we communicate who we are, and how we create the moments that matter, bringing together data, creativity and commercial focus to ensure Autoglass becomes the natural choice for our customers.

Working in close partnership with Digital, Customer and Sales teams, the role shapes connected, insight-led marketing that supports the full customer journey and delivers measurable impact. It also guides the evolution of our Customer, Employer and Employee brands, protecting and growing their value for the long-term health and success of the business.

Ultimately, this role brings our story to life, creating clarity, connection and a brand experience that customers recognise, trust and choose across every segment

Key Accountabilities

  • Shape the strategic marketing agenda to accelerate growth across all segments
    •  Define the long-term marketing priorities that help Autoglass win across B2B, Insurance, Wholesale (Laddaw), Cash, VAPs, Conversion and Loyalty, ensuring the function contributes directly to increased market share and customer value.
  • Translate insight into strategic direction and competitive advantage
    • Use customer, market and competitor intelligence to inform enterprise decisions, challenge assumptions and identify new opportunities for growth and differentiation.
  • Provide strategic direction across all marketing channels
    • Set the approach for CRM, PPC, social, content, ATL and digital activity, ensuring channels work together in a connected, insight-led and commercially focused way that supports segment strategies.
  • Shape a coherent, insight-led customer journey
    • Determine where marketing should influence the customer journey, identifying priority moments that improve conversion, loyalty and long-term customer value, while collaborating closely with Digital and Customer teams.
  • Lead cross-functional alignment and matrix working
    • Work in partnership with leaders across Digital, Sales, Commercial, Operations and Customer to ensure marketing and brand direction are integrated into business planning, segment strategy and customer experience.
  • Provide strategic leadership to the marketing function
    • Set clear expectations, direction and standards for how the team operates, embedding insight-led planning, collaboration, curiosity, creativity and continuous improvement as core ways of working.
  • Coach, guide and develop marketing capability
    • Support the growth of skills and confidence within the marketing team, providing coaching, direction and clarity to help individuals deliver high-quality, insight-led work aligned to strategic priorities.
  • Lead the evolution and governance of the brand
    • Define how the Customer, Employer and Employee brands develop and show up across all touchpoints, ensuring they remain differentiated, meaningful and aligned to long-term business ambition.
  • Drive strategic measurement and continuous improvement
    • Establish KPIs and measurement frameworks that assess brand strength, marketing performance and segment outcomes, using insight to guide priorities, optimise investment and inform senior decisions.

Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrable experience leading marketing in automotive, distress-service or similar trust-critical industries across both B2B and B2C.
  • Strategic leadership and clear brand vision, with the ability to influence at senior levels.
  • Strong commercial, analytical and insight capability, using data to guide strategic decisions.
  • Expertise across multi-channel marketing, including CRM, PPC, social media, content, ATL and digital.
  • Experience with Marketing Cloud or similar CRM/automation platforms.
  • Track record of driving marketing performance and delivering growth outcomes.
  • Experience shaping and evolving Customer, Employer and Employee brands.
  • Comfortable working in a matrix environment, partnering with Digital, Sales, Customer and Commercial teams.
  • Ability to lead effectively in a people-centric, values-led culture, building trust and strong relationships.
  • Previous People Leadership and operating at a senior leader level
