Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Calls on customers and prospects in the field and by telephone, e-mail and fax to identify customer needs and specifications, informs them of new and existing products/services, and explains characteristics and benefits.

2. Develops lists of prospects from trade and professional association membership lists, directories, other public records and from referrals.

3. Communicates with existing customer base on a consistent basis to: (1) monitor customer satisfaction; (2) resolve customer problems and concerns; and (3) monitor competitive position.

4. Achieves or exceeds personal sales budgets.

5. Represents company and analyzes industry trade shows and meetings to: (1) promote products and services; (2) increase market and competitive knowledge; and (3) identify new product for distribution, OEM or development.

6. Develops long and short-term profit driven business plans, which leverage Neogen’s strengths and marketplace opportunities

7. Executes sales and marketing programs that have been approved by management
