Printpack is seeking qualified candidates to fill the position of Technical Support Analyst I/II in Villa Rica, GA.

The Technical Support Analyst I/II, depending on qualifications, will provide front-line primary technical support to end-users on various technical issues and problems relating to IT hardware, software, and peripherals. This individual will also perform IT preventive maintenance and due diligence to support strategic corporate initiatives and projects that include IT disaster recovery and business continuity efforts at the assigned manufacturing plant location(s).

The Technical Support Analyst I or II will be responding to, documenting and resolving service tickets in a timely manner. He or she must be able to prioritize work, multi-task, make decisions, and possess strong communication and analytical ability. Candidate must be available for off-hours support as well as occasional travel.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Install monthly operating system updates, perform server back-up, and monitor server performance and print queues

  • Troubleshoot and work with the vendor on IT hardware technical issues

  • Maintain inventory records 

  • Perform diagnostics, software installs, imaging, and restores for end-user computer devices 

  • Diagnose and repair InkJet/Laserjet/Zebra industrial printers, mobile RF equipment, and handheld RF scanners

  • Build a working knowledge of switches, routers, wireless access points, copper and fiber cabling, port configurations, remote VPN, and  WAN/LAN technologies.

  • Administer active directory and resolve  technical support tickets for the assigned plant(s)

  • Provide end-user support for Microsoft Office Suite 365/2016/2007, Google Chrome, G-Mail, Google Drive, and Crystal Reports

  • Be the front-line primary IT technical support for the assigned plant(s)

  • Collaborate with corporate and engineering resources,  follow-up and escalate to appropriate teams as necessary 

  • Support Enterprise-wide application(s) 

  • Take ownership of issues and follow through to completion

  • Be available for after-hours support and emergency outages

  • Support strategic Corporate initiatives and projects

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or equivalent in an IT-related field

  • Minimum of 2+ years working in the technical support field, preferably in a manufacturing environment
