Job Description:


What You’ll Do

  • Responsible for font line security operations across the Company. Ensures building operations, monitoring capabilities and business units function in a cohesive and efficient manner.

  • This position will be able to identify, manage and escalate risk effectively within the organization.

  • Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management.

How You’ll Do It

  • Provides training, support and administration of security systems and infrastructure used to protect and enhance the worksites safety and security. This includes creation of access badges, setting and removing access clearances through the CCURE system. Conduct security camera and alarm testing as well as routine monitoring of the Genetec security system.

  • Provides guidance and oversight to contract security staff, including follow up and review of completed incident reports and completion of required associated reports such as fire incident and OSHA mandated reporting.

  • Provides support to Workplace Violence Prevention program by conducting investigations into reports of Workplace Violence Incidents. Also conducts follow up interviews and assists with resource coordination. In addition, conducts investigations into matters outside the scope of Workplace Violence such as theft, and vandalism.

  • Completes other support duties and functions as directed such as conducting fire drills and emergency evacuation drills. Providing support for local events such as visitor escort, event monitoring and security. Other duties include support to local Human Resources/Employee Relations teams for contentious terminations and difficult conversations.

Qualifications You’ll Need
The Basics

  • Bachelor's degree in Security and Intelligence  or related

  • 2+ years of experience in Security Operations or Security role in private sector or public law enforcement

  • In lieu of a degree, 6+ years of experience in Security Operations or Security role in private sector or public law enforcement

  • Must be able to obtain/maintain CPR / AED / and First Aid

  • Travel up to 10% of the time.

Compensation:

The base pay for this position generally ranges between $60,000.00 to $93,200.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
