ZEISS ANZ offers market leading products in the Consumer Optics industries, Medical Technology and Microscopy and we are excited to present an opportunity to join our Vision Care team in Castle Hill.

Reporting to the Lab Manager, this 12 month contract role is responsible for the timely processing, editing and co-ordination of ZEISS Vision care orders. The role will also require acting as a back-up customer service consultant as well as providing support to all other functions within the lab operations as required.

Key responsibilities of this role will include, but not limited to:

  • Responsible for processing job orders into Rx ordering systems
  • Responsible for extracting, following up on and reporting daily late order list
  • Responsible for input of data including editing of lens orders in our business management system
  • Receiving and dispatching of daily orders
  • Identification of different frame styles, types and manufactures
  • Tracing the dimensions of all styles of lens frames
  • Generation of order queries for missing data or order verification
  • Process lens credits to customers if required
  • Maintenance of finished single vision inventory & management of FSV back orders
  • Picking of FSV lenses in preparation for CE&F or dispatch
  • Allocation of frames to storage location while lenses are being manufactured
  • Association of incoming lenses to frames post lens manufacture.

The key skills required for this role include:

  • 1-2 years working experience in a team environment.
  • Optical industry experience is preferable but not essential
  • Proactive willingness to learn, with a positive outlook
  • Strong work ethic and high quality standards
  • Process driven individual who is organized with high attention to detail
  • Excellent administration and time keeping skills
  • Proficient computer skills
