We are looking for a talented and energetic senior database developer to join our Business Intelligence Team (BI). This role will primarily focus on ad-hoc reports’ creation, the design and implementation of the corporate DWH (Oracle / Snowflake), supporting internal reporting infrastructure, and technical management (architecture development, technical review, task estimation, etc.). There will be opportunities to work with different database products and analytical platforms.

Key responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with international analyst teams and business owners on solution design, reports’ structure, and architecture.
  • Develop and support different kinds of ad-hoc reports using Oracle & Tableau platforms.
  • Develop data processing applications using Oracle and Snowflake platforms.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot system issues in a timely manner.

Skills & Requirements:

  • 5+ years of PL/SQL programming.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with building Tableau reports.
  • Great communication skills (both written and oral).
  • Solid knowledge of Oracle database products, strong SQL and PL/SQL skills.
  • Expert understanding of data processing methodologies, ETL/ELT principles, and proven track record of applying them in an analytical project.
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Git.
  • Experience working in Scrum.
  • Experience dealing with data processing applications.
  • Good understanding of the full software development lifecycle.
  • Upper-Intermediate English or above.
  • Analytical skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Team player with a positive and friendly attitude

Would be a plus:

  • Team or technical leadership experience.
  • Knowledge of JavaScript and/or Python.
  • Knowledge of non-SQL and BigData platforms.
  • Experience working with Linux systems and shell scripting.
  • Familiarity with reporting and analytical applications.
  • Experience with billing reports.
