We’re currently looking for a User Experience (UX) Research and Test Engineer to join our team in Aguascalientes, México.

This role will be responsible for variety of functions within the region (Vehicle Competitiveness, Product Planning, Vehicle Connected Services and Infotainment design teams) to provide feedback and set direction for system requirements for current and future Nissan In-Vehicle-Infotainment (IVI) and telematics systems. UX Research and Test Engineer will be responsible to provide detailed benchmark information, help establish target criteria, direction for screen layouts, execute customer clinics and user studies, and conduct physical validation testing of the system’s target achievement.

Job Responsibilities:

Benchmarking of competitive IVI and connected car systems in addition to consumer electronics to provide market trend analysis of customer expectations

Identify key performance attributes and feature requirements to be adopted to Nissan products to maximize the HMI/GUI ease of use

Defining the essential factors to both improve attractiveness of Nissan products and reduce customer dissatisfactions: Investigation, database analysis, reports.

Review and evaluate information architecture, interaction designs, UX writing and motion designs.

Conduct UX Research

Analyze 3rd-party customer survey data to support system requirements and predictions of future system performance

Plan and support testing (physical and software-based), validation, and verification of IVI and Telematics systems, ensuring high quality, on-time delivery, and overall system qualification.

Education:

Science in Innovation and Design, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Computer, Industrial, Biomedical, or Human Factors Engineering.

Years of Experience:

At least experience in the industry as Internship

Required knowledge:
Any experience in the automotive industry.

Language:

English Fluent conversation; Toeic ≥ 700 points.

Computer Skills:

CAD software (NX, Solid Works, AutoCAD) & Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)  
Desirable: Figma, Adobe XD, Envision, Visio, Confluence, Java, Android OS, etc.

Competences:

Leadership skills: Planning, communication, negotiation, networking, proactivity.
Effective and Strong presentation skills within all levels of the organization and with outside organizations
Ability to manage multiple issues and tasks simultaneously
Self-starter, think outside the box.

Driver’s license (Driving experience: around 3 years)

Desirable: Active Passport and VISA.
