Job Description

Technology Consultant, Motion

As our new Technology Consultant, you will contribute as a technical expert on Rockwell Automation's motion technologies and solutions. You'll help customers understand the value and capabilities of our portfolio, delivering compelling proof of concept demonstrations and providing pre-sales support. With your deep technical insight, you'll be a trusted advisor to both our sales teams and channel partners.

Furthermore, you will be responsible for technical support in presales activities for motion products within the Nordics, belonging to the Aarhus office in Denmark. Yet, the role is Hybrid since you will spend most of your time with customers.

You will be a part of a Nordic organization where you report to you manager in the Nordics (located in Lund, Sweden) and among others have a colleague located in our office site, just outside of Aarhus.

Your Responsibilities:

• Be an expert on Rockwell Automations' Motion products and solutions
• Support customers on project development
• Facilitate and provide product-based training to the sales team
• Co-operate with the sales team in promoting the product range to existing and new customers with presentations, demonstrations, performance tests etc.
• Create and present proposals
• Define and articulate product differentiators and values versus competition.
• Participate in trade shows, seminars or similar marketing activities, offering demonstrations and product expertise with customers where needed
• Validate and resolve issues of products within motion and provide guidance to customers/sales force
• Update customers on new products and technology as related to customer's industry and application needs as a resource to the named account team.
• Provide product gap and development feedback to appropriate business unit.
• Share insights with regional and global peers
• Work with Tech Support on post sales product issues
• Keep sales and customer relationship management data up to date in tools (i.e. SFA), optimizing activities.

The essentials - You will have:

• Up to 5 years of professional experience
• Industrial Automation interest and experience
• Motion/Application knowledge
• PLC / DCS
• HMI / SCADA
• Strong communication skills to face our customers
• Ability to be away from home for short periods occasionally.
• Languages: Danish (native) and English (fluently)
• Drivers license
