You will lead and direct a team delivering the most exciting water infrastructure projects in New Zealand, making a difference to the communities we serve.
Here are the key things you will do to ‘bring ideas to life’.
Providing a wealth of experience and hands-on technical leadership, to grow the water and wastewater technical capability by motivating, coordinating and mentoring staff, as well as participating and contributing at industry technical events and conferences.
Advise our clients over the full asset life cycle, covering site servicing strategies, facility plans, feasibility studies, design and analyses, constructability and operability advice, and safety in design.
Providing leadership in building and maintaining relationships with our industry clients, from business development and securing a sustainable pipeline of work, through to proposal preparation and managing the financial and technical aspects in the delivery of small to large scale projects.
Strong project management and project leadership skills. Understanding of business, risk and financial drivers.
Have well-developed and strong communication and technical report writing skills, with the ability to present complex concepts to a diverse range of clients.
Working collaboratively across the business and with local and national clients, bringing diverse skillsets together through national and international work sharing, and innovation to complex problems to successfully deliver projects.
Industry recognition and profile in the field of three water infrastructure and membership of relevant professional bodies
What We Are Looking For
Degree in engineering (post-graduate advantageous).
15+ years’ relevant professional/technical experience and/or specialization.
Chartered Professional or equivalent registrations
Member of relevant industry bodies
Project Management qualification and/or strong project management experience
Water and wastewater generalist, or specialist.
